Agafay desert excursion Marrakech

The Agafay desert is located about thirty kilometers south of Marrakech and stretches over several hundred hectares. This desert, however rocky can be assimilated to a desert of sand. Right in the middle of this desert, there is a surprising oasis nicknamed the enchanted oasis, it is a world of peace which is only disturbed by the passage of a few flocks of sheep. Lost in the desert hills that look like dunes , there are still some Berber villages which continue to exist in this austere but sublime nature.

At the gates of Marrakech, this stone desert will surprise you and make you forget the intense atmosphere of the center of Marrakech. This desert can be crossed by several means, it is an ideal place for taking a camel ride or quad biking. It’s the perfect place to forget the passing of time and enjoy its light, because the Agafay desert is spectacular.
